1. Background:
The Urban Development Authority (UDA) Planning and Development Regulations were revised and published for the first time in 35 years. The gazette was issued on July 08, 20211. These Planning and Development Regulations help to create a conducive environment and enhance the quality of life of the people in terms of habitable space. Understanding the Planning and Development Regulations is essential for urban planners in order to be effective in their roles.
The gazetted Planning & Development Regulations 2021 has various implications in different sectors. Thus, it is important to discuss the perspectives of various sectors practicing those Planning & Development Regulations.
Accordingly, ITPSL organise an awareness session to make members of the ITPSL aware of the Urban Development Authority Planning & Development Regulations 2021 and to discuss the perspectives of various sectors practicing those Planning & Development Regulations.
