40th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2021-2022: FIRST NOTICE
At the Meeting held on 15th February 2021, the Executive Council of the Institute has decided to call for the 40th Annual General Meeting of the Institute on 26th March 2022. The relevant details will be notified in due course. The Members are hereby requested to submit nominations for the next Executive Council, and proposals for resolutions. The specimen forms for nominations and resolutions are attached herewith and available in the ITPSL website.
The nominations for the following posts are invited:
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Assistant Secretary
- Treasurer
- Assistant Treasurer
- Chairperson of the Board of Education
- Five (05) Council Members
The important rules related to the nomination of the officials of ITPSL:
Rule 3.3 Only a member who has served in the council for at least one year shall be eligible for election as President, President-elect, Vice- President, Secretary or Treasurer.
Rule 3.5 A member may not hold the office of President, President-elect, vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Asst. Secretary or Asst. Treasurer for more than two successive years, but maybe re-elected to such office after the lapse of one year.
Rule 18.1(a) The Chairman of the of the Board of Town Planning Education shall be elected at an Annual General Meeting by the members from among the FELLOW Members of the Institute
Rule 18.1(b) Chairman of the Board of Town Planning Education shall be ex-office Member of the Council.
